Registration Requirements

Tienes que registrarte en este sitio para presentar un proyecto. No te preocupes, el registro es gratuito. Para inscribirte, ve a la página de registro. Después de entrar a la página, envía tu propuesta, incluyendo imagenes o fotos de tu proyecto, información básica acerca de tu grupo, tu proyecto y objetivos.

You have to register on the site to submit. Don't worry, registration is free. Nada. Zilch. To register, go to the registration page. After you login, submit your proposal by providing us with an image of your project, some basic information about your group, your project and goals.

Puedes proponer tantos proyectos como desees. Por favor, asegúrate de que alguien más de tu equipo no haya presentado tu proyecto previamente. You can propose as many projects as you like. Please make sure that if you are not the person who runs the program that someone else has not already added a proposal for them. Rules and Terms

Pedimos que todos los participantes lean y acepten las reglas antes de presentar una propuesta. La intención de estas reglas es hacer posible la construcción de un o más proyectos seleccionados por Architecture for Humanity y otros grupos asociados con el proyecto. Al presentar una propuesta a Reconstruir Mejor, los participantes se comprometen a cumplir con las reglas y condiciones a continuación.

We ask that all entrants read and agree to the rules before submitting a proposal. The rules are intended to make it possible for Architecture for Humanity and its partners to build one or more of the selected projects. In submitting an entry to Build Back Better: Chile, all participants agree to comply with the rules and terms of entry below.

Elegibilidad

Eligibility

Para entrar, los participantes deben registrarse en el sitio de Reconstruir Mejor. Los participantes podrán presentar propuestas múltiples, pero deben completar cada propuesta. Cada proyecto será considerado y evaluado en forma independiente. Las propuestas no seleccionadas serán consideradas en rondas de evaluación futuras.

In order to enter, entrants must register on the Build Back Better: Chile site. Participants may submit multiple proposals but must complete submissions. For jurying purposes, each proposal is considered as a separate entry and will be reviewed accordingly. Please note that unsuccessful proposals will be held and eligible for further rounds of funding reviews.

Invitamos a los presentadores de proyectos a desarrollar su propuesta a durante las fechas establecidas. Una vez que la fecha límite haya terminado no se podrán hacer cambios a éstas propuestas. Las propuestas que estén retrasadas, ilegibles, incompletas, o mal dirigidas no serán elegibles.

Submitters are invited to develop their proposal throughout the submission period. Once the submission period has ended they will not be permitted to make changes to their entry. Proposals that are late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or incompletely received will not be eligible.

Al entrar en el proceso de Solicitud de Propuestas , los participantes se comprometen a lo siguiente: a) Presentar proyectos en el sitio de Reconstruir Mejor y seguir las condiciones de uso de Reconstruir Mejor, b) Permitir que Architecture For Humanity registre todos los proyectos de diseño bajo la licencia de Creative Commons y adherirse a los términos de la licencia seleccionada.

By entering the Build Back Better: Chile RFP process, entrants agree to a) post entry materials on the Build Back Better: Chile website and to the Terms of Use of the Build Back Better: Chile site; b) to allow Architecture for Humanity to license all design solutions under the Creative Commons licensing and to adhere to the terms of the selected license.

El equipo de diseño seleccionado será propietario de todos los conceptos de diseño, planos, imágenes, reproducciones, dibujos, fotografías, maquetas y / o textos, documentos, información u otros materiales presentados en asociación con esta iniciativa. The selected design team will own all design concepts, drawings, images, renderings, sketches, photographs, models, and/or text, documents, information or other materials submitted in association with this initiative. However, the recipient and selected team hereby grants Architecture for Humanity and its designees perpetual, free, unrestricted use of the submission materials in fulfillment of its charitable purposes, including its annual report, its websites and in communications with volunteers, funders and the media and all other purposes specified in these Rules. Such use is expressly not directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation. Notwithstanding AFH’s rights as a Licensor, competition entrants shall retain full rights to use the documents in other projects for commercial and for-profit purposes.

Al participar en este concurso los participantes garantizan que todos los materiales enviados por ellos fueron creados por ellos, y que nada en la presentación de estos materiales violará los derechos de autor o cualquier otro derecho de cualquier persona y que tienen plena autoridad para presentar los materiales para tales fines.

By entering this competition entrants warrant that all materials submitted by them are their own, that nothing in the submission of these materials will infringe the copyright or any other right of any person and that they have full authority to submit the materials for such purposes.

Exposición y Publicación

Exhibition and Publication

Los organizadores expondrán proyectos seleccionados para Reconstruir Mejor durante y después del concurso. Los resultados del concurso se presentarán on line, en galerías y en otros sitios, en publicaciones impresas y todas las propuestas estarán disponibles para ser vistas en el Open Architecture Network. The organizers will exhibit selected entries to Build Back Better: Chile during and after the competition. The results of the competition may be presented online, in galleries or other venues, or in a printed publication and all entries will be available to be viewed on the Open Architecture Network. Selected and Finalist entrants may be asked to build scale models representing their design and provide printed presentation boards for exhibition purposes.

En cualquier exposición, publicación o sitio web, los organizadores harán todo lo posible para atribuir los diseños correctamente al autor participante. In any exhibition, publication, or website, the organizers will make every effort to properly credit the appropriate competitors. Architecture for Humanity and its designees reserve the right to utilize materials submitted by entrants in any publication or promotional endeavor in perpetuity and free of charge (See "Ownership and Copyright").

Premios y distinciones

Prizes and Awards

El jurado se reserva el derecho de seleccionar proyectos múltiples y distribuir los fondos disponibles a su criterio. Cada premio se entregará a la organización incluida en la propuesta.

The jury reserves the right to select as many grantees and distribute the available funds as they deem worthy. Each award will be made to the organization listed in the proposal.

Al aceptar el premio, el participante acepta los compromisos y obligaciones de los finalistas. Los participantes seleccionados como finalistas deberán entrar en contrato con Architecture For Humanity para seguir desarrollando y aplicando su diseño y firmar un documento con el fin de recibir los fondos del premio.

In accepting the award, the entrant agrees to the commitments and obligations of the Finalists. Entrants selected as Finalists will be required to enter into a contract with Architecture for Humanity to further develop and implement their design and to sign a release in order to receive prize monies.

Architecture For Humanity se reserva el derecho de construir el proyecto ganador, con o sin la participación del diseñador, y hará todos los esfuerzos razonables para incluir al diseñador en la implementación del diseño.

Architecture for Humanity reserves the right to implement the winning design concept with or without the involvement of the entrant, but will make all reasonable efforts to include the entrant in the implementation of the design.

En caso de que el ganador opte por no aceptar el premio, no se puede contactar por cualquier razón, o no responde a los intentos de notificación repetidas y / o mensajes de correo electrónico dentro de 14 días, éste perderá el dinero del premio. Architecture for Humanity will make every reasonable effort to contact the winning entrant and notify the entrant of the award. In the event the winner chooses not to accept the prize, cannot be contacted for any reason, or fails to respond to repeated notification attempts and/or emails within 14 days, the prize money will be forfeited. In such an event, Architecture for Humanity may, but is not obligated to, award the prize monies to another entry in its sole discretion. No substitution or transfer of prize monies will be allowed.

Conflictos

The jury has the sole authority and responsibility to recommend winners at the end of the competition. The organizers reserve the right to make a final decision regarding the winning scheme and any funding that may be made available for the development or implementation of designs entered into the competition. The competition administrators decisions in connection with all matters concerning the competition shall be final and binding.

Limitaciones Legales

Al participar en el concurso, todos los participantes y miembros del equipo se comprometen a indemnizar y librar a Architecture for Humanity, incluyendo sus capítulos, gobernantes, directores, funcionarios, empleados, agentes, socios, donantes, patrocinadores y voluntarios, de y contra cualquier juicio, reclamo, demanda, responsabilidades, daños, costos y gastos (honorarios razonables de abogados) que surjan o se relacionen de cualquier forma con los servicios en relación a este contrato.

By entering the competition, all entrants and team members agree to indemnify, defend and hold Architect for Humanity including its chartered units, and its governors, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, funders, sponsors and volunteers from and against any and all suits, claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating in any way to services it provides in connection with this agreement.

Compromisos y Obligaciones

Commitments and Obligations

El objetivo de Reconstruir Mejor es mejorar las condiciones de vida de las comunidades involucradas. Para poder implementar los diseños ganadores, contamos con el compromiso y el apoyo de los participantes. Los equipos de diseño seleccionados como finalistas deben estar dispuestos a dedicar tiempo y energía en colaboración con Architecture for Humanity para desarrollar - y en última instancia construir - su diseño.

The goal of Build Back Better: Chile is to improve lives. In order to implement the winning designs, we rely on the commitment and support of the entrants. Design teams selected as finalists must be willing to commit time and energy in partnership with Architecture for Humanity to develop--and ultimately build--their design.

Reconocemos que esto puede interferir con otro trabajo. Para apoyar la participación de los diseñadores, si su diseño es seleccionado, recibirán un estipendio que deberá ser utilizado para cubrir los gastos en relación con el proyecto. We recognize that this may take you away from other work. To support designers on-going involvement, if your design is selected for implementation you will receive a stipend, which is intended to cover out-of-pocket expenses incurred in connection with the project. In exchange, you will gain the experience of work alongside a community partner to realize your design. There is no more meaningful work.

Entrants must be willing to agree to the commitments and obligations described below in order to receive prize monies and be acknowledged as a finalist of the design competition.

• to make himself or herself available for a site visits to ensure the integrity of their design and support the construction of the facility;

• to ensure the use of local materials and local labor whenever practicable;
